It is located on the North - West part of the island in the Soliscica Bay, over three nautical miles long, in which where the salt pans in the old times and the place was named after it.
It is a good place for anchorage for ships due to the deep bay.
A famous beach Saharun lies in the vicinity. Saharun beach is one of the most beautiful sand beaches on the Adriatic.

Soline Apartment
A vacation house is situated just 100 meters far from the sea. The house is totally renovated in 2004. With the surface of 65 sqm, 3 bedrooms, bathroom with shower and toilet, kitchen and a spacious terrace with a view to the sea and a fragrant greenery of Mediterranean plants.
House is equipped with TV set, utensils, bed clothes, towels, gas and electric stove with the oven, refrigerator with the freezer. The grill at the courtyard is on your disposal. House has it's own parking place. Maximum capacity of the apartment is 5 persons.

About Dugi Otok
Telascica
For magic holidays you do not need a magic formula. It is sufficient to spread maps and look out for Croatia., antic Zadar and Dugi Otok. Geographically, it is the island of peculiar contrasts and the largest island in the North Dalmatian Archipelago. It is about 45 km long and between 1 and 4 km wide, the highest peak Vela Straza is 338 m high. The south west coast of the island is steep with fascinating cliffs, and with line of bays, the most beautiful among them Sakarun and Telascica.
The pride of island is a significant landscape with dominating lighthouse on the north west side and the Nature Park Telascica on the south east. The sea fruits together with the various fruit of the rocky soil make this island the unique ecological unit.
Around 1500 inhabitants live on the island in 11 villages. The road connecting all places on the island offers a magnificent view. The island is well connected with the mainland by ferries and fast ships.
When there is a Dugi Otok in question, you can find many attractive places and natural fineness; this is the trip through the world of the tradition as well as through the modern way of living.
When coming to the island of Dugi Otok you are returning to your roots. You can indulge your body, as well as your personality, idling on the beaches of Dugi Otok, alone or with someone, swimming in amazingly clean sea. In Sali and Bozava you can become a member of scuba diving club and dive like a fish.
Every place on Dugi Otok has its festivity. Hedonism and Mediterranean culture with specific traits of different places, such as donkey races, folk dance Kolo and musical concerts in the environment of the island architecture, makes even the farthest dreams come true.
The cove of Sakarun, the beach full of white sand, pebbles and pinewood, is a place of enjoyment. Sakarun is natural counter-balance to Telascica.

Saharun
Dugi Otok is bountiful of hidden rock, pebble and send beaches. The most famous and largest sand beach is on the north side of te island and it is called Saharun. If you are feeling especially adventurous, you can find wonderful isolated places...
Nudism is practiced almost everywhere except the beaches near to the villages.
Day Trips
Veli Rat
Park of the nature Telascica is located on the Island. National Park Kornati is connected to Telascica. Daily excursions are organized to National Park Kornati. If you happen to have a car or a sailing boat, you should definitely visit the the northern part of Dugi Otok, primarily the lighthouse Veli Rat. If your vacation is at the same time as one of the local town parties (Festa), definitely make sure to attend them.
